The Players
Dean Prange plays lead guitar and sings...a bit. A native of Milwaukee and also a veteran of the local music scene, he can frequently be found playing his weird looking guitar at open jams around town. His previous bands include Knock On Wood, Creative Bones, The Sociables, Sacred Ground, Vamp and Dreamer. Having celebrated many a Summerfest and marked the major Harley Davidson anniversaries with good rockin’, Dean has also opened for Molly Hatchet, BTO and Robin Trower. He’s either a showman or a show-off. You decide.
Tony
Hiebel plays
bass guitar and sings...we think. A native of Pasadena CA, Tony has rocked the southwest
from L.A. to Houston for 26 years. He began playing professionally before he was
old enough to legally be in the establishments he was playing. Musical styles
include 70's hard rock (Thin Lizzy's The Boys Are Back In Town got it all
started), blues, and current rock. Credits include opening for national acts
such as Average White Band, Circus of Power, etc.
Various recordings include a soundtrack for a United Way television
commercial. Currently residing in Wisconsin, when asked why, he replies " I
just wanted some elbow room, and some peace and quiet"…except at show
time and then the peace and quiet is over.
Mike
Kells plays
drums, and anything else that makes noise when you hit it hard enough.
His previous bands include Felix, Ginger Jake, Grain, Flash, Mandella,
Tiger Rose, Hollow Points, Chaser, Swineman, The Cringe, and Lookin’ Back.
In other words, if you are a musician in this town you’ve probably
jammed with Mike, and if not, you’ve seen him play.
Mike is too good and too young to quit just yet.
No more inclined to slow it down than Tony or Dean, Mike likes his rock
like he likes his bikes, hard, fast, shiny and classic.
The Gear
We use JBL mains and a Peavey mixer. We have new state-of-the-art LED pars in order to have the coolest (literally and figuratively) light show around. We look good and we sound good. Sorta the point right?
Does anybody really care what guitars, amps and drums we use as long as they sound great? I've never understood why people list that stuff.
